Description
There are several Cypress tree varieties none of which are native to Ireland. This bowl came from a Macrocarpa Cypress tree from a farm in Maynooth, Co. Kildare and would be an ideal salad/fruit bowl. Note the distinctive ‘flamed’ or ‘tiger striping’ feature, more commonly found in Maple and often seen in fiddle backs.
