Description
Fanad Lighthouse stands on a peninsula that lies between Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay on the north coast of County Donegal, Ireland.
Lighthouses appeal to me, maybe it is because they are guardians, showing sailors the safer way to land. Or maybe it is their isolated perches on outcrops of rock.
I am drawn to them and this one I can see from the top of my drive across the mouth of Lough Swilly. It is on The Wild Atlantic Way.
