Make Your Own Pot at Moville Pottery

Moville Pottery’s “Make Your Own Pot” sessions allow you 4 pieces of clay for you to use on the potter’s wheel to try and make your own pot(s). The sessions are up to an hour long, or until the 4 pieces of clay have been used up.

• €55 for the hour or until the 4 pieces of clay are used
• Further pieces of clay can be added within the hour for €10 each, if you like
• These extra pieces of clay and any additional costs (listed below), pay for these on the day

If you would like to keep any of the pieces that you make, you can choose a colour for them from our range and they can be finished and fired in our kiln for €20 a piece. Only pieces suitable to be finished safely can be considered to be brought through to completion.

Finished pieces can be collected in 1 to 4 weeks, depending on our firing schedule. If collection doesn’t suit then it can be delivered to you via courier or post. Delivery costs €15 within Ireland and €30 to UK.

One-hour time slots are available daily on the hour, from 11am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. This allows for a quick demonstration and the remainder you will have the wheel to yourself to attempt your own pots.
