Ballagh Studio – Printing and Pastels

Master Printer Tim Stampton will demonstrate how a hand printed image is made.  You can try your hand, with his guidance, at printing a small wood block, ready engraved by Tim, or composing your name with old wooden type. You go away with your own unique piece from “Apple and Wave Press.”

This experience will include an explanatory guide around Ballagh Studio Gallery, with Ros Harvey.  She will show you Tim’s finished works and draw your attention to the skills of her favourite medium – pastels.
