Hi, I’m Gillian, an artist based in the breathtakingly beautiful Inishowen peninsula of county Donegal. My work is deeply inspired by the stunning coastal scenery and charming rural landscapes that surround me every day. I love to bring these scenes to life through a semi-abstract style, infused with vibrant colours and a healthy dash of whimsy.
You’ll often find elements close to my heart woven into my art, from playful animals and ethereal angels to delicate wildflowers and our ever-changing land and seascapes. For me, painting is a way to capture the magic I see in the world around me and share it with others.
I’ve been fortunate enough to exhibit my work in the city of Derry and various locations across Ireland. It brings me great joy to know that my paintings have found homes not only here but also in private collections around the globe, from Europe and the US to Australia. I’m always exploring new ways to express the beauty I find in everyday moments, and I hope that my art brings a touch of magic to you, wherever you are.
